Chris McGowan

Chris and his beautiful wife Holly moved to Coppell in 2014, they will have been happily married for 8 years this November. He attended Austin College and UNT for his BA and MBA degrees, respectively. His 30+ year career in wireless included Accounting/Finance positions at MetroCel Cellular, McCaw Communications, AT&T Wireless, PrimeCo Personal Communications, Verizon, MetroPCS, and T-Mobile. He was happily married to his first wife Mary for 37 years until she passed in 2011. Together, they raised two successful children who live in the Frisco/Plano area. Chris retired in February 2018 and now spends time doing volunteer work in the area and being active in social justice causes. In addition to his duties as board member and Treasurer for Next Steps The Colony, he is on the board of the Denton Area Emmaus Community, serving as their Secretary/Treasurer, and also serves on the board of Riverchase HOA as their Secretary/Treasurer.
